Welcome to CGT Tracker, the mobile application provided by Clean Grid Technologies. These Terms describe how the App works and what you can expect from us when you use it. By installing and using the App, you agree to these Terms — please take a moment to read them.
01Welcome & Agreement
By downloading, installing, or using the CGT Tracker mobile application (the "App"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions (the "Terms"). These Terms form an agreement between you and Clean Grid Technologies regarding your use of the App.
If you do not wish to accept these Terms, you can simply choose not to install or use the App. We've kept the language as plain as possible so you know exactly what to expect.
02Using the App
The CGT Tracker App helps you monitor and analyze the performance of solar power plants installed by Clean Grid Technologies. Here's how access works:
- App Functionality: The App provides real-time monitoring, performance dashboards, and reporting for your hybrid solar system.
- Customer Access: Customers with a fully installed and commissioned CGT solar plant receive a unique username and password to view their own system data.
- Guest Mode: A friendly Guest Mode is available for visitors who'd like to explore the App's features using sample data — no account required.
- Fair Use: Please use the App only for its intended purpose and in line with applicable laws. Avoid sharing your login with others, as it's tied to your specific installation.
03Your Account
Your account credentials are personal to you. To help keep your data safe, we recommend:
- Keeping your username and password private and not sharing them with others.
- Letting us know if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, so we can help secure it.
- Updating your contact details with us if they change, so we can stay in touch about your system.
If you ever need help with your account — a password reset, a change in authorized users, or anything else — our team is happy to assist.
04Data & Privacy
- Data Collection: Please see our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.
- Data Accuracy: We work hard to keep the data shown in the App accurate and up to date. However, occasional readings may vary due to sensor calibration, network conditions, or maintenance windows. For critical decisions, we recommend confirming with our team.
- Your Data, Your Insights: The performance data shown in the App relates to your installation and is intended to help you understand and optimize your energy usage.
05Intellectual Property
The App, its design, graphics, logos, and underlying software are owned by Clean Grid Technologies or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We're glad to share these tools with you for monitoring your system — and we ask that you please not copy, modify, redistribute, or create derivative works from them without our written permission.
You're welcome to share screenshots of your own performance data — for example, to highlight your sustainability achievements — as long as the App's logos and branding remain intact.
06Service Availability
We aim to keep the App available and running smoothly around the clock. From time to time, brief interruptions may occur due to:
- Scheduled Maintenance: Planned updates that improve performance and add new features. Where possible, we'll let you know in advance.
- Connectivity: Real-time data depends on internet and on-site equipment connectivity, which can occasionally be affected by local conditions.
- Improvements: We're always refining the App, so screens and features may evolve over time.
The App is provided on an "as available" basis. While we can't promise it will be perfect at every moment, we're committed to making it reliable and useful.
07Our Responsibility
The App is intended as a helpful tool for monitoring and insight. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Clean Grid Technologies' liability in connection with your use of the App is limited to matters directly within our control. We're not responsible for indirect or incidental issues — such as decisions made solely based on momentary App readings, or third-party network outages.
08Closing Your Account
You can stop using the App at any time by simply uninstalling it from your device. If you'd also like us to deactivate your account, just contact our support team and we'll take care of it.
In rare cases — for example, if an account is being used in a way that affects the safety, security, or proper operation of the service — we may need to pause or close access. When that happens, we'll do our best to communicate with you and explain the next steps.
09Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. If any question or disagreement arises about how these Terms apply, we'd like to start with a friendly conversation — most concerns can be resolved quickly through a phone call or email with our team. If a matter ever needs formal resolution, the courts of Abu Dhabi, UAE will have jurisdiction.
10Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally — for example, when we add new features or improve existing ones. When we make a meaningful change, we'll post the updated Terms in the App and on our website, and update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to check in from time to time so you're always aware of how the App works.
